Study notes

Why can vitamin A overdose but vitamin C cannot (easily)? Step 1: Vitamin A is fat-soluble → stored in liver and fat tissue → accumulates. Step 2: Excess intake builds up → hypervitaminosis A (toxic). Step 3: Vitamin C is water-soluble → excess excreted in urine daily. Step 4: Solubility decides storage — fat-soluble vitamins need cautious dosing!
