Study notes
A newborn has a wobbly lower incisor. Why consider removal? Natal teeth that are highly mobile risk aspiration during feeding - and may ulcerate the tongue (Riga-Fede disease); firm, asymptomatic natal teeth can stay. Students learn the risk rule: mobility decides - the aspirated tooth is the emergency, the stable one is a curiosity - and extraction needs vitamin K consideration in the newborn.
