Study notes
Make a mortise and tenon joint: cut a rectangular hole (mortise) 20 mm deep in one piece, shape the mating piece end into a tenon 19.5 mm thick for a snug fit. Apply wood glue, tap together, clamp 24 hours. The glue bond on long grain is stronger than the wood itself.
