Q: Multiply (2x + 3)(x - 4) and 3x(2x^2 - x + 5). Part A (FOIL): 2x*x = 2x^2; 2x*(-4) = -8x; 3*x = 3x; 3*(-4) = -12. Sum: 2x^2 - 5x - 12. Part B (distribute): 3x*2x^2 = 6x^3; 3x*(-x) = -3x^2; 3x*5 = 15x. Sum: 6x^3 - 3x^2 + 15x.
