Study notes
A child of two brown-eyed parents can have blue eyes — both parents carried a hidden recessive blue allele (Bb × Bb gives 25% bb). Mendel discovered this exact math in 1866 counting peas, but the world ignored him until 1900 — 16 years after his death. Every genetics lab today still starts from his three laws.
