Study notes
Let's trace how a Snail eats: Step 1: The snail glides on a leaf using its muscular foot. Step 2: It finds a patch of plant tissue. Step 3: It opens its mouth and brings out the radula. Step 4: The radula moves back and forth like a metal file, scraping small pieces of the plant. Step 5: These tiny bits enter the digestive tract. Step 6: Nutrients are absorbed, and waste is moved through the mantle cavity to be pushed out.
