Choose: estimate iron in water at 0.05 ppm — titration or AAS? Step 1: 0.05 ppm = trace level — titrations can't see this low. Step 2: AAS (atomic absorption): aspirate sample into flame, measure Fe absorption. Step 3: Calibration with Fe standards → precise trace reading. Step 4: Trace levels demand instruments — sensitivity decides!
