Study notes

Find the volume of 2 mol of gas at 300 K and 2 atm. Step 1: Choose R = 0.0821 L·atm/(mol·K) (matches atm and L). Step 2: V = nRT/P = 2 × 0.0821 × 300 / 2. Step 3: V = 24.63 L. Step 4: Sanity check: 1 mol at STP = 22.4 L; here 2 mol at higher T but higher P — plausible. Unit mismatch is the #1 error: match R to your P, V units.
