Write and balance the neutralisation of sulphuric acid with potassium hydroxide. Step 1: Reactants: H₂SO₄ + KOH. Products: salt (K₂SO₄) + water. Step 2: Unbalanced: H₂SO₄ + KOH → K₂SO₄ + H₂O. Step 3: K: 1 left, 2 right → put 2 before KOH. Step 4: H₂SO₄ + 2KOH → K₂SO₄ + 2H₂O. Check: H 4=4, S 1=1, O 6=6, K 2=2 ✓. Balanced: H₂SO₄ + 2KOH → K₂SO₄ + 2H₂O.
