Speaker 8 ohm: amp Thevenin 12V, Rth 4 ohm. Max power when RL=Rth=4 (but speaker fixed 8: mismatch). Thevenin: remove load, Vth=Voc; short voltage, Rth. Norton: In=Isc, same R. Simplify complex networks to one source.
