Q: Find the angle bisectors of x + y = 1 and x − y = 3. Normalized (both already unit): (x+y−1)/√2 = ±(x−y−3)/√2. +: x + y − 1 = x − y − 3 → 2y = −2 → y = −1. −: x + y − 1 = −x + y + 3 → 2x = 4 → x = 2. Bisectors: y = −1 and x = 2 (perpendicular ✓).
