Q: Solve (2x + 3)/4 - (x - 1)/3 = 2. Step 1: LCD = 12. Multiply: 3(2x + 3) - 4(x - 1) = 24. Step 2: Expand: 6x + 9 - 4x + 4 = 24. Step 3: Simplify: 2x + 13 = 24, so 2x = 11, x = 11/2. Step 4: Check: (2(5.5)+3)/4 - (5.5-1)/3 = 14/4 - 4.5/3 = 3.5 - 1.5 = 2. Correct!
