Study notes
Find the wavelength of light emitted when hydrogen drops from n=3 to n=2. ΔE = 13.6(1/4 − 1/9) = 13.6 × 0.1389 = 1.89 eV. λ = hc/ΔE = 1240/1.89 = 656 nm (red H-alpha line).
