Q: Angle between hands at 3:25? At what time between 4 and 5 do hands coincide? Part A: Angle = |30x3 - 5.5x25| = |90 - 137.5| = 47.5 degrees. Part B: Coincide when angle = 0: 30x4 = 5.5M, so M = 120/5.5 = 21.82 min. Time = 4:21.82 (4:21 and 49 seconds).
