Q: One Jacobi and one Gauss-Seidel step for 4x+y = 9, x+3y = 8 from (0,0). Jacobi: x = (9-y)/4, y = (8-x)/3. x₁ = 9/4 = 2.25, y₁ = 8/3 ≈ 2.6667. Gauss-Seidel: x₁ = 2.25 (same), then y₁ = (8-2.25)/3 = 1.9167. True: (19/11, 23/11) ≈ (1.727, 2.091). GS closer already (uses newest!)!
