Q: Bacteria double every 20 min. Starting 1000, find population after 2 hours. r: doubling time 20 min: r = ln2/20 ≈ 0.03466/min. 2 hours = 120 min = 6 doublings. P = 1000×2⁶ = 64000! Via formula: 1000e^(0.03466×120) = 1000e^4.159 = 64000 ✓. (Exponential: doublings compound!)
