Polytrauma — FAST positive; rushed to OT; bleeding controlled. Emergency radiology: trauma series (C-spine — lateral — clear — NEXUS/Canadian; chest — widened mediastinum — aortic; pelvis — fracture — binder: ATLS — primary survey), FAST (hepatorenal, splenorenal, pelvis, pericardial — free fluid — positive — unstable — OT; negative — CT), CT (pan-scan — stable — head to pelvis; CTA — vascular), plain (long bones — fractures; eFAST — pneumothorax). FAST is fast — positive unstable goes to OT.
